Philosophy

Our philosophy is to provide a secure, enriched environment which allows each child to develop her/his full potential, keeping in mind individual emotional, social, physical and intellectual development needs.

Programme

The Nursery School programme is for children ages 2½ to 5 years. For Junior Kindergarten, children must be 4 years old by December 31st. Our programmes consist of development appropriate activities which promote gross and fine motor skills, receptive and expressive language, cognitive, social and emotional growth, music and movement, creative expression, active and quiet play.

We encourage independence, self confidence, reliance on ability to solve problems and make choices, and respect for others and their property. Children are provided with opportunities to participate in a variety of activities.

Professional Staff

Our experienced teachers hold E.C.E. diplomas or equivalent teaching qualifications. All staff, including supply teachers, have had a criminal reference check, in compliance with the rules set by the Ministry of Community and Social Services. There is a ratio of one teacher per eight children.
